SUPREME COURT VERDICT ON SABARIMALA
Dear Devotees,
All of you must be aware of the recent Supreme Court of India's verdict striking down the centuries old traditions at Sabarimala protecting Lord Ayyappa's character as a 'Naishtika Brahmachari' (eternal celibate). To protest against the verdict and to express their concern, the devotees of Lord Ayyappa in Central Texas are organizing a prayer meeting at the Hindu temple of Central Texas on Friday October 19th, 2019 at 7 :15 pm The meeting will be followed by a Naama Japa Yatra ( procession chanting Ayyappa Sharanam) around the temple. All devotees are requested to attend the prayer meeting to express their solodarity ensuring the sustenance of the unique tradition and practices at Sabarimala.
