Incidents of break-ins and thefts by a common gang have been reported recently, in many residences of our Hindu Community in TX.

A group of 2-3 ladies ring the door bell and ask if they can come in to get some food and water. 2 male accomplices await in a van outside. Once they gain entry into the house they start vandalizing the property.

This alert is to advise our community members. Please do not answer the door for any strangers. In such cases please call 911/or inform the police immediately. If possible try to take pictures of the strangers or their vehicle details with license plate. It appears that they also carry sensor blocking devises, so kindly also look into upgrading home security systems.

Similar incidents have been reported in other areas of Texas also.
